Are you believing in God to do something supernatural for your family?
This is the time where we are desperate to see God save our loved ones, and to radically transform the lives of those who have been ignoring the call of Jesus. Rightfully so!
The pages of the Bible have literally been unfolding before our very eyes and for a lot of us it has been a wake up call!
Thank God you have an ear to hear!
Let me encourage you to allow the Holy Spirit to keep working in you.
Set aside extra time and space for prayer and the reading of the Scriptures!
Show the love of Christ to those you are praying for and always share with them the Good News, the Gospel of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
I truly believe that God is giving us a grace and influence to minister to our households and our loved ones in this season, but the work must first begin in you! Let His power work in you and launch you into opportunity with those you have been praying for. God hears your prayers.
If you have small children, begin teaching them how to pray, or Scripture verses. Begin a new way of incorporating God within your day to day routines. I would have my young children hold hands and we would pray over them before school in the mornings. Just to create in our home and in their presence that God is not optional for us. Sometime as parents we want to keep our “Jesus”, only confined to Sunday, or only in the shower in private, but they need to see you in your Bible, in the family room. They need to hear you crying out in prayer for them, for the poor, for the community you reside in. Be the example early in their lives.
If you have young adult children or other family members that you are praying for, I pray for your influence, and witness. Speak Life into them and tell them the right ways, NO, the God ways of doing things. I truly believe in this critical time we are living in, we shouldn’t let a conversation be wasted.
Remember that one man plants, one waters, but it is God who adds the increase. So you only do what God instructs you to, and let the Word work.
If it seems as if the ministering has not been received, I encourage you to pray, and trust in the Lord. I also thank you for your bravery in the work you have done!
Prayer:
Father, I thank you for this reader and for the family they stand in prayer for. Lord, those who are not saved, I pray for them to have an encounter that opens their eyes to their need of salvation through Christ Jesus. I pray for divine wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to be given to this reader. Lord, let your work begin in them, and encourage them to pursue you and win the souls of their loved ones unto to Jesus. Lord thank you for my brothers and sisters in the faith. Equip us for this time and anoint our influence and our walk. Please give us favor, before You and man, to do your will. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
